Personal milestone day: Today, my wife and I can drop off the keys and officially close the book on our apartment of 12.5 years. When we first moved in, we were closer to high school than the current present 🫪 While a lot of our time there was a dream, the last year has been a nightmare.

Idea for an educational program where instead of paying for AI to do low-value tasks, companies can rent local humans by the hour to do the same tasks, who QA their outputs for free. I call this the Internal Technology and Entertainment Reconciliation Network Program, or IN-TERN Program for short.

I did this once, but instead gave the team a trolly problem: Save a boy they rescued from a pit fighting ring and walk the desert on foot, or leave him stranded alone in order to catch the train to the big bad. They stranded him, and he came back as an adult a few sessions later to take revenge.

There are people still on X. That blows my mind. In the year of our lord 2026, there are people posting on the nazi/sex trafficker/child sex’abuse material website because they think it’s helping their business or their brand or their journalism. It’s ridiculous. It’s embarrassing.
