Haven’t bought a car since we moved to Melbourne in January and it’s been so easy without one. We pay $15 a month for a service that lets us rent a car at the end of our street for $12/hr (capped at $80 a day) and that *includes* gas (there’s a fuel card in it).

Uber is just a ride. AirBnB is just accommodation. Netflix is just programming. Facebook is just communication. None of these truly revolutionised an industry - they showed the existing ones what could’ve been but destroyed them with borrowed money then became the monopolies they sought to disrupt.
