He/him, ace. 🏳️‍🌈 I draw and co-write the epic fantasy webcomic Tamuran (tamurancomic.com). Love watercolor, music, languages, hiking, ecology, magic (日本語 OK, dysgu Cymraeg)

Is it still #MeetTheWebcomic day? Tamuran is a 700+ page epic fantasy about unqualified misfits on a journey to save their home from powerful sorcerers bearing an ancient grudge. Magic, dragons, shapeshifters, messy characters, found family, copious snark. Eventual LGBT+. Read at tamurancomic.com

Text reads: Tamuran. Genres: Epic fantasy, adventure with heart.
The story of a cursed kingdom and the motley assortment of outcasts, shapeshifters, and monsters who (against all odds and any stretch of reason) may be its last hope.

Image is a watercolor illustration of two characters poised for a fight in front of a mossy stone wall carved with knotwork in the shape of a tree. A tall, brown-skinned man with long braided black hair and glasses wields two knives. He wears a loose white shirt under a green vest and looks warily determined. In front of him, a pale elf with long, white-streaked red hair, tattoos around one eye, and a heavy blue-trimmed tan cloak nervously fits an arrow to a bowstring.

I don't think I posted this here. Watercolor on Arches paper for a zine on death and decay In my novel setting, dragons are living geographical features, sort-of deities, and conduits for magic, anchoring the spirit world to the material. This is not from those stories, but maybe it should be… #art

Watercolor painting of a huge dragon skeleton still perched in vigil above the ruins of a crumbling temple carved into a stone cliff, deep in a forest. A staircase corridor winds up and around the cliff, and plant life and old dead vines creep across the facade. Glowing magic lights still hover along the path and in the tumbled stone ruins below. The colors of the painting fade from bright yellow in the sky, down through bright greens and blues to purple at the bottom.

Hi everyone, pls share! WE PLAN ON MAKING A GENRE STARTER PACK ! 🎉 All genres are seen in this picture, and you can pick multiple of them as long as it applies to your comic We need at least 7 for each genre to officially make the pack so please answer if you can [also so you to be added in it!] +

#webcomic day you say? Here's a teeny look at my process! I draft traditionally and scan the image into my computer. From there I use #CSP to digitally ink/color/shade/texture my pages! I can have as few as four layers and as many as 25 layers depending upon how I'm handling elements!

Process stages for #WebcomicDay! Currently I do the rough sketch digitally, then print it out and do final pencils, inks, and ink wash shading on paper. Tamuran is about a cursed kingdom and the shapeshifters, outcasts, monsters, & other unqualified weirdos trying to save it. www.tamurancomic.com
