just some white she/her older millennial. "a villain that fights by the book of arithmetic." will be your book reading coach and cheerleader if you want, please ask. not a professional account. i hate reply guys and will make it weird. same with doomers
fun comparison point, i use kagi, i'm not sure what LLM setup EnderC uses. (do not be weird and harass them. i'm happy they shared!) i appended "no man's sky" because my search called up resource nodes in other games first. also i had to unblock results from fandom dot com haha (trivial to do)
What's wrong with these results?
MILHOUSE: Will there be cavemen in heaven? TEACHER: Certainly not. BART: Uh, ma'am, what if you're a really good person, but you're in a really, really bad fight and your leg gets gangrene, and it has to be amputated. Will it be waiting for you in heaven? TEACHER: For the last time, Bart, yes!
Son: when your phone dies does it go to heaven or no? this question was funny because while i appreciated that by "or no" he meant 'do phones have a soul' (or, "is 'dead' in this case a figure of speech?") but my immediate thought to myself was "which of my phones actually *is* burning in hell?"
I will never forget the fact that Jeru the Damaja hit on my cousin and his opening line was, "Excuse me, I don't mean any disrepect, but you are extremely healthy."
Jeru the Damaja is such a good rapper name, it’s got that Arakko mutant flavor
I haven't seen anyone actually try to call Big Walk "friendslop" but I mute or block people who put things I find stupid, annoying, and/or upsetting on my timeline because I try not to use social media as an outrage performance stage so not good advice for some of you
it's hard to explain how bloodthirsty some people on here are to not read anything. it's as embarrassing as it is disturbing. i think an arm of the "demand avoidance" behavior on here in general (telling literally everyone that anything they do or enjoy is bad, impossible for YOU, bigoted somehow)
Good lord I wish some of you could read on this text based social media website.
So the thing is, at this point anti-vaccination activism is functionally manslaughter with extra steps, often targeting children. For my part I don’t see a path towards common ground with folks whose vision of the future is a potter’s field with small graves.
There is pervasive corruption across our healthcare and agricultural systems that defy party lines. I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.

yes i research as my job and i use @kagi.com and it works exactly as i want almost 100% of the time. i would never use google scholar though. i occasionally use google books when i want to search through a text if they have it. i'm a heavy search user and i have never wanted to search using an LLM.
over the weekend, stepdad greg and i watched "the assessment" (2024) and it feels in conversation with this book. about what your society may choose to shed in order to have the impression of safety.
i just finished "ex partum" by emma burnett, a short novel about a real-feeling dystopian future. i liked the book a lot, and burnett especially does a good job using language to alienate the idea of food itself -- taboos around chewing, teeth, unfamiliar smells, feelings in the body
i have aphantasia btw! "When visualizing a horse, most people see a mental image — they can describe its color, size, posture, and details with varying degrees of clarity. Instead, you might 'know' conceptually what a horse is — four legs, mane, tail — but see nothing in your mind's eye."
What Is Aphantasia? Meaning, Signs & Free Test
Aphantasia means you can't voluntarily picture things in your mind. Learn the signs, how common it is, what it feels like, and take the free VVIQ test.

i love nora AND this post. and also, people do often think i'm a man because my picture is a cartoon pirate and my "name" is berserk
one of my favorites of my own long-standing bits is being skeptical that people who are being rude on the internet really are the person in their profile picture but only when its a picture of sonic the hedgehog or something
we're microblogging! that's just saying what you're doing or thinking i have a handful of new followers! this is a very broad account, i have many interests, very leftist, pro palestine, trans rights, etc. i am writing about photons in the other window right now. how are you, what's up?

Hank Green should not use LLMs in his work. Working scientists have specific use cases for LLMs, but science communicators like Hank and I do not. They add more vulnerability than value in our field. I laid out some history and background to walk you through the reasons why.
I’ve been writing a counter narrative of shutdowns that has me revisiting media from that time. And let me tell you, the only other option was everybody die. So yeah.
it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy
oh I meant to put a gift link that I stole, here it is: www.nytimes.com/2026/07/27/u...
Hiker Trekked 10 Miles to Safety After Impaling Himself on Pole (Gift Article)
David Cifaldi was hiking up Granite Peak, Montana’s tallest mountain, last week when he slipped and fell on one of his trekking poles. A wound nurse, he went into survival mode.

The intellectual disciplines require intellectual discipline—they’re aptly named that way. If you never devote the time and energy to learn, then you’ll never learn! If you don’t care enough to learn, that’s fine, but don’t use LLMs as a substitute for study and then pretend to know your shit!
Venn Diagram I Could Never Have Imagined: Marc Jacobs x Robert Crumb
season 21 of "taskmaster" really shows why henry higgins needed thousands of individual vowel sounds on vinyl. the variety of these british accents alone is WILD, plus kumail!
my kink is watching reviews of season 2 of netflix avatar
one last share! information that could help you avoid a similar mistake, or help someone in your life avoid a similar mistake

battle camp. where i am explaining my strategy to a professional athlete who just did not know that the sun is a star or that alaska is not a country.
i've been watching "battle camp" on netflix and it is really silly, but shuby from "the circle" (the first season! lockdown memories) is on it and he's such a sweet baby angel peanut butter and jelly sandwich. everyone loves him so much including me

I sincerely believe that men cannot handle this. women may be falling in love with their chat bots, too. But I don't think they are categorically attached to its flattery to the same degree.
YouTuber Hank Green Admits He Has Unhealthy Relationship With AI After Facing Backlash Over Recent Video 'The level of dopamine I've been getting from interacting with LLMs is not healthy for me,' said Green
There’s also something to how women are socialized to be suspicious of flattery — it’s how we transfer responsibility for men’s desire onto women’s bodies; we are taught to defend against that in service to our “innocence” or whatever — whereas men accept flattery as their due. Perfect marks.
