Flight Attendants at Delta Air Lines organizing for positive change and a voice in the workplace with @afacwa.org. Stronger Together, Better Together. 💜 ✊ #1u https://deltaafa.org/ | https://linktr.ee/deltaafa

Once we've signed in, there should be enforceable work rules, not uncertainty. With a contract, we can negotiate our work rules in advance, not when operations fall apart.

Today I had to miss Leprechaun Days in Rosemont for my annual Flight Attendant safety training. That's just a day in the life when you're still working while running for Congress. I couldn't ask for a better team. Thanks so much to everyone who came out today!

My union sister @flyingwithsara.bsky.social walks the walk - even if that walk is 36,000 feet in the air. I know we can count on her to stand up for workers everywhere, and I’m so thankful she could join us for our convention this year. www.aft.org/news/flight-...

Sara Nelson is all-in for the AFT in our own fights. She deplored the conditions too many educators work under. She also struck a note of deep solidarity with AFT values: “Education is a foundation of democracy, and healthcare is a human right.” @flyingwithsara.bsky.social

Flight attendants president asks for help in tough campaign at Delta

You can always spot a teacher’s kid. They get it. “I feel very at home in this room,” Sara Nelson, international president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA—and a teacher’s daughter and form...

Airline workers should have the right to start unions. Today, over 80% of three of the four largest airline workforces have joined their unions. I am concerned by reports that Delta has engaged in union-busting behavior, denying their workers that right.

172 Representatives just signed a letter to Delta mgmt urging them to remain neutral in our organizing campaign. This is huge. Lawmakers sent a clear message to mgmt that union busting won’t fly – & they’re doing everything possible to support our right to organize.

Management protects management. Flight Attendants protect Flight Attendants, that’s why we are organizing to protect each other, with due process for all. Sign your card, carry cards for others, and get involved in our campaign to determine our future together. deltaafa.org

“I believe the South can become a testing ground for Labor’s next great breakthrough!” AFA-CWA International Secretary-Treasurer Dante Harris spoke at the 55th annual Convention of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists in Atlanta.

Management’s EIG is not the solution they want us to believe it is. United’s 2026 Contract, with 67+ improvements compared to Delta’s 10 policy implementations, paints a clear picture. The only legally recognized way for us to have a voice on the job is through our union.

“The shop floor is where democracy becomes real or it remains rhetoric. Delta Flight Attendants are not just fighting to be heard. We are fighting to be impossible to ignore.” Last week, Delta Flight Attendants gathered with union workers in Altanta for the Jobs with Justice National Conference.

United AFA Flight Attendants just ratified their new contract by 82%. Union Flight Attendants raise the bar, while our compensation & work rules fall short due to hidden costs. A contract can put in writing compensation with scheduling protections, incentives, & benefits that are guaranteed.

Does a 4% raise meet all our needs? Our existing work rules doesn’t even guarantee that we will get these rates in our compensation. What we need is a contract that can ensure we are properly compensated for the work that we do and the profit that we bring in!

Ed’s **contract** paid him $19.2 million last year. If a contract is good enough for Ed, a contract is good for Delta Flight Attendants too. What would you fight to negotiate in our first contract?
