My opinions are, like, just my opinions, man.

Max Miller released audio recordings of conversations he has with his ex wife. In one of them, she accuses him of clandestinely recording their conversations. “I have never recorded our conversations” he says, while recording their conversation. This is domestic violence. Ask me how I know.

it is hard to express to someone who was not raised this way that our first thought on getting sick is not "will this treatment cure me?" but "can I get this treatment without going bankrupt???" and it is pretty fucking twisted that we are so numb to how horrifying that is

It is genuinely bizarre that we’ve become acclimatized to right wingers throwing a tantrum every time a black person (particularly a black woman) is cast in something, but are also supposed to pretend that this is not racism but related to some other substantive concern.

I’m glad that the walls seem to be closing in on Andrew Tate, but it took criminal investigations across three countries, dozens of outspoken victims, and a hit TV show implying he drives boys to murder girls for this to happen—and he still hasn’t been convicted yet. This is why 98% get away with it

Historically accurate depiction: “they ran out of food and water, they all got scurvy, and like 2 of them made it home but both killed themselves within the year from the anguish and trauma of eating their friends’ bodies to survive. It was boring and horrible. The end.” Bad movie idea. 0/10.

LOL, "historically accurate." This is a story set 3,000 years ago that features Greek gods, a cyclops, a multi-headed sea monster, and a witch who turns a crew of men into pigs.

I have been a professional cybersecurity analyst in various forms for over 15 years, excluding internships and high school extracurriculars. I have survived many dogshit bosses and dogshit stakeholders. Nothing has made me want to exit the industry more than what AI is doing to my work.

I hope you are correct but a lot of intrusions are not from vulnerabilities per se (social eng, structural reasons, legacy, competing incentives, SMB resourcing etc.) and I’ve seen a shed load of AI-enabled intrusions. I consider AI a net-negative for security and I don’t expect that to improve.

Hard to predict, but my working theory is it's going to be a really rough couple of years IMO, followed by computer systems and internal networks rapidly becoming dramatically very substantially more secure.

PURE EVIL Stephen Miller’s worldview in one video clip. "I think the ideal solution would be to cut off their fingers. I don't think it's necessary to kill them entirely. We're not a barbaric people. We respect life. Therefore, torture is the way to go. Because tortured people can live.”

JKR and her new org apparently helped get the new Amnesty International report on how TERF organizations destroy lives taken down from their site. Well, guess what? The Streisand Effect is real. Here's the entire report in a thread. Read it. Share it.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

ICE has fatally shot 11 people since Donald Trump's second term began. These are not isolated incidents. They are the predictable result of a cruel, violent system. Abolish ICE.

Security camera footage obtained from local businesses showed individuals who are believed to be U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers surrounding a car and pulling the driver onto the street, in events connected to the fatal shooting of a man in a coastal town in Maine on July 13.

The latest killings by ICE agents in Texas & Maine of individuals who were not the subject of a warrant (not even an “administrative warrant”) leaves no room for doubt that civilian deaths are the inevitable consequence of ICE deployments under the marching orders from Trump & Mullin. #FeatureNotBug
