becoming a rep was one of the most meaningful and personally significant things i've done for moving beyond dead end jobs and poverty, i learned more and gained better experience than i did at my old admin job by a lot. do stuff, it rules.

It is very interesting realizing almost everyone commenting on DSA has no idea how DSA works or what it even is when everyone could just go and observe and go on their local chapter website and probably figure it out.

Lots of people are trying to simultaneously hold “electoralism in which we inherit the bourgeois state cannot lead to socialism” and “we need to praise liberal electoralism and spend a lot of our time trying to win elections as democrats” Towards what end? Are you really thinking clearly about

Social democracy cannot forever insulate capitalism in crisis. To put your eggs in its basket is to believe it can fulfill its fake promises. That it can reform capitalism. That crisis under its leadership won’t occur.

“Why do people have to be revolutionary Marxists can’t we all just get along” this is how your movement gets crushed and you all die instead of win

I will now defend the economic system where 12 billionaires have the wealth of half the humans on earth. Because I am super cool and awesome and nice

Perhaps controversial but this is bad and it’s fine for more people to realize the economy we live in mostly benefits the top 5%. Even if things are similar to how they have been it is not wrong for people to eventually get frustrated with living in a class society

Roughly 111 million people - 50% of Americans with a credit card and 40% of the U.S. adult population - carry credit card debt, according to a joint report from The Century Foundation, a left-leaning think tank, and the advocacy group Protect Borrowers. That's a 17% increase from the 95 million who were in the same situation five years earlier, the report found. In 2026, 250 million Americans will face health insurance premium increases far exceeding inflation, wage growth, and Social Security adjustments-price hikes with few historical parallels. This avalanche of higher costs will land as families are already struggling to cover basic medical needs.
Our survey shows that nearly three in ten Americans (29 percent) report delaying or going without medical care in the past year, including 37 percent of Hispanics, 33 percent of women, and 32 percent of Black Americans.
Among the youngest group we surveyed, adults ages 18-29, nearly half (49 percent) delayed or skipped medical care.

The median credit card balance is not $6,715. The median credit card balance is $0. Most Americans do not *have* credit card debt. The Transunion report is reporting the average (not median!!!) balance *among those who have balances*. www.transunion.com/content/dam/...

In case you still haven't caught on. The explosions are intentional but not in the way you think. They're getting huge government contracts, spending one tenth of it making a trash firework, then they'll go back to the well end take more taxpayer money. This is not a new scam. Space X does this too

Yikes… Blue Origin's New Glenn just blew up at LC-36 while attempting to Static Fire ahead of NG-4.
