So for those of you who don't know, it's canon that both Molly and Matthew lived in the city before moving to Forget-Me-Not Valley in Story of Seasons! I wanted to draw what they might've looked like before the game, poor stressed out bubs. #Mollthew #StoryofSeasons #shipping

pre-farm Matthew leans back at his desk, pushing his neatly-groomed hair back as he frowns. He thinks "fuck, I've got such a migraine", and clearly it's not the only problem he has going on from the pair of medicine bottles on his desk. From his office you can see the buildings of the city, as well as a tram that slices through it.
Matthew is dressed in common business attire, and his suit jacket resembles his current shirt in the design of the breast pockets. He looks handsome, but frustrated and stressed.

In the top left doodle Molly is busy working at the Bluebird Cafe (or the Blue Bar, as it used to be called and still is called in my heart of hearts), flirting with customers, meanwhile Matthew offers his own snark in response. It earns a righteous glare from Molly, meanwhile Matthew turns his gaze away nonchalantly. In the bottom left doodle, Molly and Matthew are dressed for a pride event. Matthew is wearing a disability pride bandana tucked into his beltloops and a pansexual pride bandana around his neck while a set of sunglasses sit atop his head, and he glares at Molly, who is wearing bisexual pride colors alongside a progress pride unitard and sun-protective accessories. Her eyes are rolled and her hands thrown in the air as we catch her response to an unseen fight between the two, "oh my god I am NOT having this argument again". (this is a reference to the oft-debated difference between bisexuality and pansexuality, and whether bisexuality is inherently transphobic. From Molly's outfit and response, clearly she's used to the argument but is not transphobic.)
Another doodle features the pair drunkenly bantering at the Bluebird Cafe after Molly's shift, and Matthew has forgotten that he's not supposed to have fun while talking to Molly. Lastly, in a simple three-panel doodle comic, Molly hides from a proposed date with one of her latest failed partners, saying "actually I can't, I'm seeing someone NEW". Matthew blushes, surprised, at the implication and whispers "what are you doing" to her, and she whispers back "just pretend to be in love with me and I'll make you curry for a month." This shuts up Matthew's protests to acting as her stand-in boyfriend as he thinks about curry, and Molly cuddles up to him with a smug glare at her ex.

One of my roomies is DMing a 2-person campaign for our household, and this is my character! We're doing a cozy low-stakes game, and Percy is the owner of the lounge bar, Sap Sippers. I was trying to go for "artsy sophisticated gnome with a cozy vibe" and accidentally made a leprechaun, oops... ;;;

Percival "Percy" Sorrelson the gnome is drawn next to some songs to get his vibe, and three images to get a sense of his general aesthetic. Character references for Yemreck (top) and Kimmit (bottom). Both are young unicorns, but one is a unidog (unicorn dog) and the other, a unicat (unicorn cat). Both are physically young, approximately 7-10 years old, but express themselves like older individuals. In their human form, they still maintain animal legs like a satyr, their animalistic ears, and always, their iconic horn. Yemreck is an early mastiff-chow mix with red ochre fur, floppy ears, and a stocky body, whereas Kimmit is an early turkish van, with bright white fur and heterochromia.

In this loose sketch it's clear how some of the early developmental sketches show the difference in shape language between Yemreck and Kimmit: one is stocky and "poofy", whereas the other is sleek and contained, with slender cat feet. This is to show that while Yemreck might seem standoffish in her expressions and words, her body language is surprisingly open, showing the truth of her internal world. Kimmit, while maintaining easygoing manners and expressions, however, is closed off and self-contained, like a well-guarded secret.

Sherlock Holmes, reimagined in the universe of Sherlock & Co, is happily ranting about ho much he loves christmas while gesturing wildly. His companion, Dr. John Watson, walks beside him and looks positively chuffed to see his friend so unexpectedly joyful of the holiday, leaving him genuinely charmed by the man as they walk along a busy london street. Later in the conversation, Sherlock's mannerisms stiffen as he asks Watson what's so funny.
