We'll gather evidence about how people use different languages and live in different cultural settings. With local communities and external partners, we'll collect data on how people of all ages learn and use languages—both 🗣️and🧏♀️— in places like homes, schools, workplaces, and social spaces.

New article just published from the ‘Queer Northern Ireland: Sexuality before Liberation’ project. Charlie lays out in brilliant (and often depressing) depth how the complex forces of psychiatry and religion shaped the responses to male homosexuality in the decades after WWII.
