My comments about Diamond/Hancock also reminded me...Remember, attacks against scholarship are coming! Step 1: Find some super-niche research. Step 2: Strip it of all context. Step 3: Ridicule the scholar. Then, denounce the field. Step 4: Call for federal funding cuts and bans.

Any reading recommendations for first generation professionals? As a first gen student myself, I've learned to be an effective mentor. But I speak with former students who are now professionals and struggle with socially integrating into those spaces, with cultivating professional habitus
