#tbbchat my favorite thing about writing is when the words are just flowing. It usually happens when I’ve had a scene haunting me all day and I’m finally writing it out. The scene at the beginning of book 1, where Alixandra is screaming in the desert, vowing to murder her fated mate, was like that.

#sffchat well, body swapping does actually happen to a certain extent in my series. Lana ends up in her sister’s body, but she’s more concerned about her sister than herself, since she is still trapped, somewhat unconscious. So Lana devotes herself to fixing it—until something else horrid happens.

#sffchat my main character Vasileios feels very self-conscious. He is the prince of the Court of Dreams, but he has animalistic traits (ram horns, silvery skin) that aren’t common in his court. They mark him as a powerful mage, in a realm where magic is forbidden, so he spends a lot of time hiding.

#sffchat in my fantasy world (the faerie realm), bodies are just vessels for the soul. Bodies can fade, but souls remain. In fact, the FMC’s sister has her soul shoved into an amulet for a while.
