🚨 Gestern wurde unser Thüringen-Monitor 2024 vorgestellt. Was bewegt die Menschen in Thüringen? Die Unterstützung für die Demokratie bleibt hoch – aber die Unzufriedenheit mit ihrer Umsetzung wächst weiter. /1

Thüringer schmunzeln über die Aufregung. Auch auf Landesebene dauert es manchmal länger einen Regierungschef zu wählen, meistens in Thüringen. Berühmt und berüchtigt sind die Vorkommnisse in SH um Heide Simonis 2005, die in die Wahl von Carstensen im fünften Wahlgang mündeten.

Man muss jetzt gar nicht die AfD rauf und runter interviewen. Man muss auch nicht ohne Not behaupten, dass das auf jeden Fall nur der AfD hilft. Selbsterfüllende Prophezeiungen. Muss man nicht.

Können wir uns wieder alle mal ein bisschen einkriegen bitte. Wenn man mal auf die Landesebene schaut, wie oft bei MP-Wahlen die Mehrheit im 1. WG verfehlt wird, dann ist das eigentlich nix ungewöhnliches. Es ist ein Warnschuss an #Merz /1

When looking at #BSW results, I wondered if the East/West divide hides regional differences. So, I looked at West Germany only. Should we discuss places-left-behind/structural inequality (red circles)? Or is it just a home advantage for Sahra Wagenknecht in Saarland?

🚨Heute wurde unser Thüringen-Monitor offiziell vorgestellt. Was sind die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse? Rechtsextreme Einstellungen haben 2023 zugenommen und erreichen mit 19% wieder den langjährigen Durchschnitt. Nach einem Rückgang während der Pandemie zeigt sich keine langfristige Verbesserung. /1
