のくちーず (Nokucheese) is a bakery recently opened in Mizonokuchi. The name is a terrible pun: (Mizo)noku~chi ➡️ noku~cheese 🤦🏼♀️ The crusty bread is amazing 🍞and tricky to find in Japan. Nokucheese was recently opened by @jason.jagaimo.com who I know… which is also surprising 😂

We use mailpace.com for sending transactional emails. Except I can honestly never remember their name - they changed from ohmysmtp.com years ago and I *always* remember that and go there and get redirected. Was a _much_ better name if you ask me. mailpace is so generic.

So I guess I'm available for #Ruby on #Rails or #ElixirLang Phoenix contracts again! 20 years of working with Rails, most of my career working remotely for US, UK and Australian companies, built more Rails apps that I can remember, happiest in small, fast moving (and sometimes 'scrappy') teams.
If anyone ever points out that I'm wrong about anything, I'm just going to answer with "I apologise for the confusion"
That has me beat! But some of my previous jobs: - McDonalds. Got a regular “lacks hustle” on my reviews. - Night-shift order picking at DIY mega warehouse. Walked a *lot* - Typing numbers from a hand written paper into a green screen terminal. Just numbers. All day. Numbers. Nothing else.

Absolutely fascinating to watch the increasing flow of tech-adjacent folks arriving to bsky and announcing their move to here. Not a tipping point yet, but it doesn't feel impossible anymore. Not inevitable, but certainly a possibility, especially for a lot of the tech crowd that I'm interested in.
