This move will allow Nexstar, one of the largest owners of TV stations, to buy rival Tegna in a massive deal.

On top of diverting worker’s wages to their wealth accounts, worker contributions to SS & Medicare were proportionally reduced. Reduced funds means lower future worker payouts.
I spoke with my old pal Sen. Mitch McConnell this morning. He said we should simply scrap the cap on income for Social Security so that billionaires and the ultrawealthy pay the same rate on all of their income just like the rest of us.
