Ten years ago (yes, I checked - TEN years, two months), I bought an Arduino beginner kit. Played with it for an afternoon, then set it aside. Figured I'd come back to it sometime when/if inspiration hit me with something I could do with it. (1/2)

At a car wash this morning, it scanned my license plate and asked me to confirm. I said no, it asked me to enter the correct one. THERE IS NO EXPLICIT OPT OUT. All I could do was enter a bogus plate. But I have to wonder if they saved both so the model training can be refined Who asked for this?

Remember, this weekend is not “thank you for your service”. It’s to remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice. So, before you make the bbq, open the pool, etc….remember the price paid by those that we memorialize this weekend.

Only a couple more days until I'm speaking at Day of Data Jacksonville! Join me on Saturday, May 2 - I'll be talking about how to get your system documentation up to scratch so you can take that summer vacation and relax. #DayofDataJax

Dearest gentle event attendees, Session evaluations are IMPORTANT. Please give us your feedback. It really doesn't take that long and we need to know what we did right and what we need to change. My latest session had over 300 in-person attendeees. I've had 10 survey responses. TEN
