This is where you put the magnets in the lil feet and then carefully felt over them which is incredibly annoying because of the magnet/needle, so I put a sheet of craft felt in between two magnets while I do, felt that into the foot, and then I'll cover that with more aquamarine roving

An in progress needle felted frog with feet that have hollows in them revealing where I'll be putting the magnets to attach the frog to a lily padThe second stage of putting magnets in the foot, the hollow has been covered with a bit of craft felt that is a different color from the wool, so it's visible, you can also see the magnet outside of the frog, used as a counter to keep the interior magnet from being attracted to the needle so much

2/2 The close-ups of my wildfire embroidery. I tried to get a glowing effect with the fire and embers with colours I chose. I cut up my favourite cardigan for the rough charred ground as it was the only fabric I had with the right colour and texture but its not needed in this heat anyway...
