Waiting for my flight to the Island to see my dad, and re-reading All Systems Red (Murderbot) while I wait for my library hold on the second book in the series to become available.

After work today I’m heading to the Island for the weekend to see my father. My sister is visiting from the prairies and how many more times will my 87 year old dad get to see both his kids at once, you know? (Sad to be missing Pride, and the first Whitecaps home game in months. But worth it.)

In today's use up stuff before it goes bad kitchen adventures: some sad looking leeks and leftover potatoes becoming soup, some ground beef, cans of tomatoes and beans, and veg in the crisper becoming chili. 🍽️🍲

After yesterday’s absolute shitshow of a day, today has been good so far. Hungarian qualifying on the iPad, latest crochet project on my hook, homemade granola in my breakfast bowl, and not a word spoken to anyone. (Family is still asleep.)

Blue Bottle Games, as a policy, does not use generative AI. It's something we've discussed as a team, weighing the pros and cons, and ultimately, we decided it was not for us. Recently, while chatting with a colleague, she mentioned it was useful hearing our reasoning. So: Sharing time! 1/12

A baguette needs to be javelined for best effect whereas you can frisbee a naan which means that while distance on a baguette is dependent on your shoulder and effectiveness of your kinetic chain, the naan will travel further even with worse pronation due to physics. Naan win everytime
