TV writer and comedy writer in Cornwall. Currently: Channel 4 New Writers. Passionate goblin enthusiast and TTRPG writer.

Trying to apply for arts council research and development for individuals fund and so far i've researched every corner of their broken labyrinth of a website and developed a deep resentment for it. So a successful round of r&d you could say.

Genuinely and unironically, I love that we've finally made it through the "every movie is a Marvel" era and reached "every movie is an adaptation of two sentences Stephen King wrote on the back of a napkin while doing cocaine".

Feral, bloodied, charging through a swirling blizzard... Just some of the experiences I had while writing part of this book. It's my first contribution to the Wrath & Glory line, having had the honour of working with some true Long Fangs of TTRPG writing. I can't wait to get my claws into a copy.

Cheese is the best thing you can do with milk, obviously. Whereas Cheese! (note the punctuation) is the best book you can read your kids. And now @thisisdouch.bsky.social is working on a sequel. Delicious! Pledge for a copy to delight your kids and/or spite a lactose intolerant nemesis.

I’m running a Kickstarter to fund a self-published children’s book. Please take a look and support if you can www.kickstarter.com/projects/thi...

🐺The upcoming Space Wolves supplement for Wrath & Glory is nearly here. Prepare for new tales of honour, fury, and the wild heart of Fenris in Sons of Russ. The Collector’s Edition features a beautiful foil-embossed cover with gilded edges and comes wrapped in PU leather. #WrathAndGlory

Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory - Sons of Russ book cover featuring a golden emblem of a wolf's head on a black background, with 'Sons of Russ' written above. Published by Cubicle 7 Entertainment, officially licensed by Games Workshop.

Part of England’s problem might be that the flag is too easy to spray on things. Imagine if we had something closer to the Australian flag? I can’t see the racists taking the time to lay down a blue base coat before carefully spraying all those stars.

Travelling today while reading a Lovecraft story and I’ve just got to the reveal that the terrible dark thing at the heart of it all is happening *today*, but sure it’s fine, totally fine, not an omen of any sort.

Writing my first RPG adventure. Made a typo while aiming for ‘he leaps forward with a savage howl’, which autocorrected to ‘he leaps forward with a sausage’. Sure, it changes the emphasis of the encounter… but I’m not 100% against it.

Friends, clients, would-be wealthy benefactors! It has come to my attention that some emails I’ve been sent have been mysteriously waylaid by the warp, en-route to my inbox, and I haven’t received them. It sounds like some made up bullsh1t, I know. But alas, I have proof.

A writing credit on a new radio show (for me) AND I get to spend all day writing for an IP I grew up loving? Good day to be a freelance writer. For balance, yesterday my car cost me £150. They can’t all be winners.

Opened Twitter for the first time in a while. "I wonder if it really is as bad on here as we all made out"... First tweet I see is sponsored one for a testosterone supplement, with the undeniably arresting headline "this drained my man boobs". So yeah.

Why have I gained 50ish followers in the last two days? Who’s added me to a “people who don’t really post and therefore won’t bother you much if you follow them” starter pack? Come on, own up.
