I think the only people who expected “avenge Minnesota” to not hit in outstate Minnesota are employed by the Strib. It’s not unexpected to support someone who promises to make life hell for the people that brutalized your community.

We are draining Minneapolis dry to pay for an MPD that refused to answer the phone all winter.
I hate these motherfuckers so much. I’m so thankful for the continued, unglamorous work of folks like the researchers here who are quantifying the harms we suffered at the hands of these freaks.

The American primary system isn't lowercase-d democratic accountability. It's an incumbent protection racket. The vast majority of members of Congress get there via open seats and will stay as long as they want or until they die, never at any serious risk of losing either a primary or a general.
