Numbat. This small Aussie marsupial is known for its reddish coat, white stripes, & bushy tail. Unlike most marsupials, numbats are active by day, using their long sticky tongues to feast on thousands of termites daily🐜 Found in eucalyptus woodlands, they shelter in hollow logs & burrows for safety.

The Misome is coming along quite nicely in my indoor garden. No slugs, no bugs, no mildew. I foresee some yummy stir-fries in my future. #GrowYourOwn #Homegrown #Foodforest

That tromboncino squash is quite the traveler. It went up the rhododendron across the path into the azalea & is coming back out again. There was a measles scare near me, so I had my titers tested. All good. I had chicken pox and mumps as a child. Got my usual vaccinations. I remember when the polio vaccine rolled out. My whole family went to the local high school to get it. Think I'm all set for now.

And I proved, yet again, that I cannot tolerate Stevia. Spent the whole day wondering why I was so shaky and dizzy. Then discovered Stevia in the whey protein my Dr. suggested. It was SUPPOSED to make me feel better. Sheesh. Gotta read the labels better.

Just double checked that I am still registered to vote in my county. Whew. All good. Early voting starts 10/15 for me.

This piece of granite comes from the Yilgarn Craton in Western Australia. The unusual ball-shaped, radial clusters of crystals that you can see on this rock are orbicules. The diversity in the orbicules’ mineral composition & structure indicate that the conditions in the magma changed as they grew.

I closed my online store. I think I got marketing burnout pretty badly. I had been running after all the suggestions & I think it just fried that section of my brain.
