like an intellectual 3-in-1 oil, this 🧵 disables about 90% of ill-informed takes on higher ed. Editors should use this as a filter before publishing any higher-ed article: does it pass the Wulf test?

But here are the three major fallacies of much of what’s out there, three contexts that are missing, and the one big thing that is driving me around the bend (actually already there, but). 1/
