The school closures were the best of several bad available choices in 2020. However The number of people who say that parents who wished their kid were in school/day care instead of home must not love their kids is deranged. Parenting a small child and working at the same time is very difficult.
this is definitely true for flying as well. you don't want the Golden Age of Flying back because for that lobster dinner on the NY to Chicago flight you'd be paying 5x the current price
