Got the official word today that Virginia Tech has scheduled the close of its department of Religion and Culture. This comes mere years after Converse Universe announced the close of their religion department. So sad to realize that 2 of the 3 departments which shaped my education no longer exist.
It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that Zac on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives drives a glossy-black Cybertruck.
Many of the people calling this season of Star Trek “all gimmicks” happily call Master and Commander, The Hunt for Red October, and Galaxy Quest (a comedy!) honorary Star Trek films. Apparently, people can embrace different genres as long as it isn’t actually Star Trek. 🤷😉🖖🏽

just saw a story about the second season of Three-Body Problem coming soon and I mean surely we can come up with a better TV system than "hey remember that thing you watched eight episodes of two and a half years ago? no? you don't? you can't remember the plot or characters at all? well we're back!"
