Smart business. Declan Rice can't run on fumes for years without breaks, so being able to pair two from Rice, Bruno, Zubimendi and MLS gives such a strong midfield platform for a season-long challenge. The aim has to be for top players to share minutes without the level dropping (look at PSG).

A party that was actually anti-racist would be kicking this person out, not allowing them to run for the Governing Committee. There are many decent Greens who will be disgusted by this and I wish them all power fighting back against it. We know from experiance how hard that is.

This is an important letter from von der Leyen to counter the political narrative of recriminations and finger-pointing against Spain. She frames irregular migration as a challenge that “requires a common European response, united action and solidarity”. The 27 must stand together.

A wave won’t be enough if Trump denies election results post mid-terms. It will also be necessary for the institutions from which Trump derives legitimacy—S&P 500 companies, tech CEOs, evangelical leaders, military leadership, etc.—to withdraw support for his claims. Start organizing now.
