The Alt National Park Service somehow managed to name the wrong Olympic canoeist here, which I guess is impressive. Most people can't name two Olympic canoeists in the first place, let alone mix them up. The correct canoeist is David Hearn, as in the doc AltNPS linked to, titled "HEARN FILING."

You can tell how deeply Alex Pretti's death affected the Alt National Park Service by the way they refer to him as "Alex Pettis."

The Alt National Park Service has spent months stealing from journalists, directly plagiarizing the work of others more than a hundred times. With more than 4.3 million followers on Facebook and nearly 900k here on Bluesky, they've built a massive following on theft.

Also, I'm sure that lying to your audience about being a "resistance coalition" so that you can print low-effort stickers to sell on your webstore is what John Lewis meant by "good trouble."

Fun experiment: at least up to a few weeks ago when I stopped looking, Bojack posted verbatim the same things certain X accounts did at about the same time. 👀

A few people pointed this out! Bojack seems to mostly be spreading spurious rumors as an excuse to spam the timeline with links to some app called InteractInk. It's bottom-of-the-barrel spam, but it seems like it's consciously courting liberal outrage as its main vector.

Coming back from a short break to highlight this account, which has just over 50k followers, posts dozens of times a day, and spews a lot of unsourced claims. Which sources said this? To who? In what outlet? Please, sir, could you spare a scrap of evidence?

And not even 48 hours later, AltNPS is selling a sticker of this definitely-original design.

Catching up on my backlog. AltNPS was both a MONTH late to this story, AND they linked to ICE's .gov site directly to avoid giving credit to a journalist. It's one of their favorite tricks. Linking directly to govt docs helps AltNPS maintain the fiction that they're "connected" inside the govt.

It's been over a year since the Alt National Park Service first mentioned cell-site simulators as a sort of catchall for spooky surveillance tech. Back then, AltNPS used the specter of CSS devices to justify their nonsense "code number" posts.

I have a lot to say about AltNPS's new website project, but I'll start by reminding everyone that last year, the Alt National Park Service said they'd launch an "Alt DOGE" website, and then never did. It's been fifteen months since they said they were "working on it."

Even weirder is that this account's bio on Bluesky links to their Instagram. Their Instagram links to their Threads. Their Threads links to their Twitter. Their Twitter links back to their Instagram. There's no website or other landing page where you can learn more about the acct and who runs it.

I don’t understand why so many people are following and boosting this account. So what if they don’t like Trump? They’re Republican conservatives. They don’t want ANY of the things we want. They still want terrible things for us. They just want it to be done quietly.

The allegations against Platner are also revealing a large subset of people who invoke "AIPAC" as an invincible boogeyman the same way Q followers would with "the Cabal."

The cruelty toward victims is awful, and people are finding new and creative ways to victim-blame in the Platner case. "AIPAC did this." "It's a GOP op." "It's obviously planted." Not wanting to admit that Platner was always a walking red flag, people jump to conspiracies.
