Had a really wonderful visit to LA last weekend to see some dear friends I hadn’t seen in ages. Weekend full of sunny weather, long talks, cute cats, delicious food and ridiculous pool parties. Someone on the plane home gave me the flu but it was worth it.

Stuck in LA traffic and our Uber driver just pulled mini brownies out of the console and fed us. We now love him.

Your Gen X prescription: 1. See Superman in the theatre 2. Listen to “I’m a punk rocker” by the Teddy Bears w/ Iggy Pop 3. Listen to a recent interview w/ Director James Gunn 4. Listen to Spotify Superman character playlists by James Gunn 5. Realize that movies & music still matter 6. You’re welcome

So... a life update: as of yesterday, I've joined the ranks of the unemployed. Blindsided, but life comes at you fast. I'm proud of the team I was nurturing & the client work I'd wrapped/worked on. On the hunt for something ASAP so if you need marketing, community, or product support, lmk 🚀

You probably need to hear Obi’s purrs and pleas for treats today.

For my Canadian folks, this website helps you see how your individual riding is polling for the federal election tomorrow. I found it very helpful in seeing how the different parties are doing in my area. Your vote does matter. 338canada.com/bc.htm

Great way to support an indie bootstrapped studio working hard on getting their first game out by supporting their Kickstarter and amplifying their posts! @caeriehouchins.bsky.social and Terry are good humans too. 💜👾🎮

4.8 earthquake in Vancouver today, felt like the ground turned to Jello for a few moments. But it’s also garbage day which always shakes our house too. Was so disorienting

I was curious so I went to see Canada's 1.3B commitment to increased border security that was announced, notably, in December. The top line item is targeting Fentanyl. Again, in December. In case anyone else is curious, here's the link. www.canada.ca/en/public-sa...

Ready for Christmas festivities!

Finished Dragon Age Veilguard on the weekend, loved it. Then spent the day yesterday being very “non-digital” learning how to weave a rag rug. My dear friend owns Smoking Lily so we used a bunch of their off cuts from their clothing which created beautiful designs (They are 0 waste)

Got in the queue for last minute Taylor Swift tickets about an hour before the show start….and actually got to front of line and the ticket was a normal price! Changed the number of tickets to 2 from 1….ticket disappeared 😭 Tomorrow is our night! 💃🕺✨💖

Leeloo “air kneads” after she’s had a good belly rub. Maybe she’s dreaming of a White Christmas?

Still figuring out what I want to post here vs LinkedIn. I’d stopped posting on Twitter ages ago, funny it used to feel so natural. Now it feels more natural to post on LinkedIn. Maybe I’m just cringe 😬
