We're so tired. We're tired of people pretending he's not an idiot. We're tired of his lies. We're tired of his sickening amorality. We're tired of his face, his voice, his smirk. We're tired of his inability to say even one thing remotely kind or humble or appropriate, ever.

They confirmed Todd Blanche. That's why the next House should impeach him, not Trump. Let Trump watch, powerless to stop Epstein photos and videos from being released. Evidence that will shut his wife & kids up for good. And make him wish he were dead. It was all AI. Fake news. Blah, blah, blah.
Burritos were $16 a few years ago so people voted for the guy who almost immediately made them $20 and removed all the flavor unless you want forever diarrhea.
Taylor Farms Recalls Salsa and Guacamole With Jalapeños Over Salmonella Risk
The recall affects prepared foods with jalapeños sold across about 20 states.

1. We live in the dumbest timeline 2. There are some jobs where speeding up and cutting corners for hiring and training is a really, REALLY bad idea 3. This makes flying sound about as safe as going to an all-you-can-eat Taylor Farms salad bar
America’s air safety is apparently now in the hands of gamers
Listen, just make one list of everything they put out so I can never buy from this company again.

This is why I find the 'AI has uses' or the 'AI is marketed wrong' so dumb. Of course everything comes with a trade off, but, you can't possibly think that what few things it can do is worth being "the biggest climate polluter in the US." That seems absolutely insane
Planned Amazon data center could become the biggest climate polluter in the U.S.
Goodnight all, hope you all had good Saturdays too

The political party that takes on both the surveillance state and data centers will win in a landslide. We all see the hate building up against these things among the normies.
I can't come up with one positive reason for these data centers to even exist.
The RNC will tell the truth from time to time, only unintentionally. 😂
Goodnight, the weekend is here, hope you all can enjoy yours!
Just to brighten up this thread: here are five books by women that I've read recently and loved:
As anyone in publishing will tell you, women do not resist reading books by men, but men will often dismiss books by women. This is not a publishing problem or a failure to target men. It's a misogyny problem.
We knew this was coming when Susan Collins said she would vote "no". There is no way she would have been allowed to make that pronouncement unless it did not matter how she voted. He was gonna be confirmed without her vote; her pronouncement, and her vote, were both purely performative.

I know they won't, but just once I wish a reporter would say to them "wow, you're such a pathetic coward" live on air
That's not a complaint. That's a confession. A sitting U.S. Senator just admitted, out loud, that his party has completely abandoned its constitutional responsibility. No pushback. No oversight. No spine.
The sad thing is, it's specifically AI data centers that are terrible. Traditional data centers don't operate with nearly the power density as AI compute does, so they don't need environmentally damaging water cooling and excessive power consumption that AI requires.
Here's what it looked like in case you would also like to send a message to AI companies
That is the thing: Datacenters have a lot of initial construction jobs but, once complete, you have 5 security guards and a janitor. At minimum there should be no tax breaks and instead property tax == cost of construction, and sales tax on all the computers inside.
Any way you want to slice up the electorate, there’s a reason for every group to oppose data centers, and most members of those groups choose to do so! Backing data centers will earn you universal condemnation, in exchange for…what? Locally made, fresh-squeezed data? Sixteen jobs? Who cares?
