my grandma passed yesterday morning from complications associated with dementia. ONYX & BEYOND was inspired by my dad & his mom. we wrote it as a gift to her, to show what dementia can be like but also to highlight how Black families take care of & love each other. all the moonstones 🖤

Kendrick taught me the true definition of they go low I GO TO THE CORE OF THE EARTH. & I respect him for that.
