Vivaldi is a browser (think google chrome or firefox) without A.I. baked in. I found it shortly after google got rid of the option to turn A.I. off. I'll get off the internet before I'm forced to use A.I.

This is another way we live in rape culture; we live in a culture where we have to hear about monstrosity all the time. Sometimes I look at those top stories lists and wonder if I'm the only one who notices that two or three or four of the ten are about violence against women.

It is for these same reasons that MAGA people also obsess over fetuses. Fetuses are a blank slate and I can make them anything I want them to be, and they will never contradict me.

New: We found 50 cops who misused Flock cameras and other license-plate readers for personal purposes, often to spy on their girlfriends or ex-wives. He "watched every single move I made. ... Who do you turn the chief of police in to?" wapo.st/3S6rTuo

She left her ex. He secretly tracked her through a network of policing cameras.

Flock’s array of license-plate cameras was built to fight crime. But at least 50 law enforcement officers were charged with or accused of misusing it and other systems.

When less than 2% of domestic abusers go to jail (rapists even less), it is clearly a systemic reluctance to hold violent men accountable. And men know this & point to the results of this system working in their favor to discredit their victims to protect their violence.

And let's not forget how long Miller's abused wife's own father suffered laryngitis over the violent man with a history of DV he endorsed. This is the family that woman was raised in. Likely why Miller chose her. She was raised to be a victim by her father for her abuser.

So when we say men benefit from worse men because it allows them to be judged innocent & good by comparison, this includes patriarchy in general. Bad guys go to jail & if less than 2% of men who beat their wives & children go to jail, they're innocent.

Victims of domestic violence being reluctant to report the fathers of their children or separate them from their children, which these fathers will declare "parental alienation" if they do, are also part of patriarchy working as intended. That men then use to defend itself.

Imagine if we stopped treating men's violence as individual acts & started recognizing the pattern of behavior that supports accusations women make against them. Imagine if we hated men who lie about their victims half as much we hate women who tell the truth about violent men.

He has such a busy history of violence & criminal activity, & lying about it, yet this isn't being attacked as a person deserving ostracism & prosecution for false accusations. Seems like he torched his credibility long ago yet doesn't receive the treatment women who report do.

I waited in line with strangers and I remember we were all excited for what this day meant and what it gave back to us. I felt immense gratitude to the nurses administering the shots and the regular citizens organizing everything around us. Why was this memory holed!

The WNBA has never had a trans woman play in the league’s 30-year history and now the right and other anti-trans activists are hammering the league over something that has never been an issue, proving once again it isn’t about protection but exhibiting cruelty toward trans people.
