So this was fun, obviously we saw more than just birds while we were in Brazil so here are a few none birds as a bonus...

A Caiman floating in the river. You can only see the top it's head with the eyes and nose visible. Because of the angle of the light these are reflected in the waters surface making it look odd. Two Kapibara sitting on a sand bank, one adult and one juvenile they are boxy quadrupeds with wirey fur in shades of sandy brown. Photographed in profile they are both giving epic side eye A Giant River Otter swimming towards the camera you can just see it's head emerging from the water. A young Azaras ​Capuchin​in a tree, it's holding on to a piece of fruit it had been eating. It has light brown fur that shades to black on its limbs, tail and head though the face has a lighter fur surrounding it as well.

The world is problematic in any number of ways but Brazilian birds are cool and relaxing! As I was lucky enough to visit and see a small percentage of them I'm going to cleanse the timeline with mediocre wildlife photography for the month of July (assuming I remember for a whole month)
