I think my gripe with Labour tackling predatory car park charges and ppl not wearing headphones on transport is that yes sure fine great to both of those but I can’t really bring myself to care about shit like that when trans women are dying of cancer because the NHS refuses to treat them

They put dementia patients in side rooms for being disruptive & upsetting other patients & honestly, it has to be done sometimes. The way this desperately sick trans woman was treated shows that they view the very existence of trans people as disruptive & distressing to others, not their behaviour.

labour mp clarifies: yes, trans people must be banned from hospitals

Literally every one of these people is constantly saying, "There was a trans person in the same room as me, and that shouldn't be allowed." And we just act like that's a normal thing for a person to say and a view worthy of discussion, let alone action.

what's wild about this is there's no "women's spaces" pretence—she's objecting to a trans person being in a non-gendered emergency room & when called on it confirms that's what she meant
