On the recommendations of the Faculty of Horror, I watched Marina de Van's 'In My Skin'. Wowzers..... what a film. It has imperfect women! Useless boyfriends! Grotesque body horror! The crushing weight of surveillance and control of female bodies! French arthouse goodness! What's not to love?

My wish for today is that you write something with your human brain. I don't care if it's a grocery list, an email, a letter to your cat or a poem about cookies. Writing is so uniquely human and magical and it should be celebrated.

Client: 'it's hard to talk about mental health. I don't see other men struggling with loss or loneliness or trauma.' Me, a therapist: 'I wonder if it would be helpful to see others going through similar experiences, to help us talk about how it feels for you?'

Today's tip from a therapist: when you are facing a long 'to do' list, you don't have to do everything. Just focus on one, small task that you have been putting off. For example, popping your Punch costume into the dry cleaners rather than leaving it to fester until next May.

I don't want to talk about 'The Boys' season 5, they did my sweet boy Frenchie dirty. And Kimiko? Why give such a badass character a voice if you then strip away all that made her awesome?

Gorgeous wrong 'un Frenchie carries a tired Kimiko, because they are special angel fish that deserved protecting at all costs.
