This is not an outrageous ask. Across the country, people are rightly revolting against the way data centers are being rolled out—with secrets & lies about resource use, & empty promises about what it will do for them. It doesn't have to be this way—and tech workers have an important role to play.

Remember these brave folks? After stating that they respect their coworkers’ right to express their opinions, Amazon made them report to meetings at which they were told they were being "investigated". Imagine if GM were to harass employees who suggested that seat belts would be a good idea.
