Außerdem könnt Ihr unter Moderation / Logout-Visibilität die Sichtbarkeit Eurer Posts für nicht eingeloggte User:innen einschränken. Allerdings halten sich nicht alle Apps/Suchmaschinen daran. Geht also besser immer davon aus, das Eure Posts öffentlich sind.

フィードのコストがそんなに掛かるとは知らなかった。2000Likesを超える高いニーズがあるのに、サービス終了はとても惜しい。公式 @bsky.app で引き継いで貰えないのだろうか。 I didn't know the feed cost so much. It's a shame to see the service end, especially with such high demand over 2000 likes. I wonder if the official @bsky.app could take over.
so asano@so-asano.com · 6mo ago純粋に運用コストの観点から、Likes of Likes を含むいくつかのフィード（* Bluefeed はのぞきます）は閉じようとおもいます。これ以上、ほぼ見返りがない状態でそれらのフィードの運用を個人でつづけていくのは正直きびしいです。なにか継続させるための方法がないか検討はしたのですが、けっきょくこの結論に至るしかありませんでした。想像していた以上に使われすぎたことで、この皮肉な結果になってしまったのは残念です。この残念な結論が、なにかの問題提起になることを望んでいます。力が及ばず、すみませんでした。

#TalkingToBSkyTeam #PrivateAccount People've been asking for the option to go private, but I would like a hybrid (?) setting. The account is private, but we can choose to leave some posts and comments open for everyone to see. (Don't know if it's possible) A label stating so might be advisable.
@bsky.app What is a label on account? I have a picture of a public statue from the town centre in Mahon Menorca. What are the consequences of a label? How is a public statue from a town centre that is in no way graphic (i.e not nipples or private parts). This seems extremely heavy handed.
I mean, fair, I also often would like to follow someone for their tech content but not e.g. political posts or other stuff that isn't interesting for me, but then I just pick who I follow and who I don't… also feeds here are probably the best solution for this problem we've had so far anywhere.

Also, other big platforms (IG, Threads, Twitter to a lesser extent) actively reward behavior that is considered a blockable offense here. In particular, people feel like they need to follow-farm to get their posts seen on those platforms because of The Algorithm™.
the level of social media illiteracy has shocked me (and I mostly escaped the big starter packs 🙏) Like people don't understand that follow-back spam gets you a lot of spammers in your timeline? That posts aren't crafted directly to the reader? We need like an onboarding quiz
It's starter packs. I had a bunch of people follow me thinking I'm going to spoon-feed and dumb down every post because I'm in a journalism starter pack and are then astonished when they realise the reason these bizarre impenetrable posts are in their timeline is because they in fact follow me.
Kinda... I think that extensive labelling would be "just fine" and one could tag their post ("tech", "politics", "private oversharing") and then when following someone one could filter out (on per-account basis) interesting things... but people are to lazy to tag/label =,=
I don’t know what the “private account” label is about though. It only seems to show up on Clearsky, and Bluesky doesn’t have private accounts (yet?)
