#QueerPrompts Almost all my characters are pan. The majority who aren't are ace or demi. It's a small minority and none of my leads to date who experience sexual attraction but only to a specific gender. (They call it being gender-selective.) This reflects the general population of my setting.

I spent last week ripping apart, reassembling, ripping apart again, and reassembling again (repeat) with the first chapter of Winter's First Verse. Most of that time was dedicated to the first page. It is safe to say I am now 100% sick of my opening content. Today I moved on to the second chapter.

20yo Andy was already writing every day but had yet to even see enough snow to ski on. I think they'd be happy I'm still writing and astonished I'd learned to ski, let alone how to teach skiing. They'd say "Of course" about the 27.5 years of marriage and wonderful adult kid parts of my success.

#AwesomeCharacters I only think of a few of my more villainous characters as truly punchable. However, I think it's also fair to say that ALL of my characters have moments where the reader would like to smack them up the side of the head. I certainly feel that way about all of them at times.
