I’m chuffed that lots of people have woken up to the fact that the world’s climate is in collapse. I’m assuming that the Super El Niño will wake up everyone else. Maybe then we can tackle the problem & stop the wholesale murder of life on earth!
Zack’s bang on. Every emission exacerbates the problem, it’s simple maths & physics, we know accurately what warming is caused by what amounts of emissions. What makes me feel sick 🤢 is how accurate the forecasts were & what’s predicted for our future or lack thereof if we do achieve a suicidal 4°C!

In 2022 I wrote TV pilot script set in 2026. Based on an idea by @rupertread.bsky.social & grounded in what climate science said lay ahead. There’s much I’d do differently when I look back on the script now, but the opening 5-10 pages basically describes the exact scenario unfolding this summer.
Let’s be honest, the yield on crops is not going to be good is it? Temperatures of over 40°C in June, make you wonder how hot it’ll be at the height of summer & when the food is going to run out. My best guess is very f’in hot & very soon.
