Fast action on social care is a strong first move from Burnham. The system is falling apart and idea of doing expensive structural reform in 2028, right before an election, was always for the birds. Nice reminder to what remains of the Starmer project that there might be an easier way of "winning over Reform voters" that doesn't entail bragging about robbing refugees of their personal possessions in militarised detention centres.
