I think every new Disney film needs a Kingdom of the Sun/Frozen2 style documentary about how insane the WDAS production pipeline is. Hearing how much goes on behind the scenes, between complete rewrites and last minute changes that make artists scramble for months to meet deadlines for, is baffling.

Hey, just some advice to younger/ inexperienced artists: Please charge yourself a living wage. You are doing nobody any favors by taking on a bunch of work you can't keep up with for dirt cheap. I say this with all the love in my heart but you are actively fucking yourself over doing that.

I know that art is some people's only option for income, because it's mine. Unlike some people I'm not going to tell you to just stop making art. I am going to tell you that you need to make things easier on yourself because running into the ground doesn't have to be your only option.
