Zach Bussey 🍁@zachbussey.tos.gg · 5d agoTwitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Welp, I fired my client. I can't believe I have to say this, but please never ever ever ever ever feed an artist's work into an gen-AI LLM. Ever. Don't. Do. It.
When you go "You can't DO that" with regards to art - writing, drawing, lettering, music, sculpting, whatever your art - you've lost. You're limiting yourself for no good reason. That "never" might work on a project, in a moment, for a reason, but you closed the door before you even considered it.🧵
Friendly suggestion to my fellow accounts with decent followings: it is a GREAT time to start a weekly art show with your account to boost indie artists/crafters. Everyone is struggling due to AI and Etsy becoming a toilet. We can't magically fix everything but we can help some individuals.

You really have to learn to treat yourself like you treat your best friend. Give yourself the same amount of slack, love, and kindness. No jokes no funny replies. I think we all generally need to get better at it. 
Finished my inspections of ~1,450 enamel pins. My hands, shoulders, and back rejoice. Or, they will in a day or so.

Chiitan loves all genders 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 Because I myself have no gender. Even now, transgender people are carrying deep anxiety— yet I believe they have the right to freely love the ones they desire, and to live together with their true soul.
I yearn for the consumer tech of 2017 - 2019. It feels like things from that era offered a great combination of innovation and practicality. The car I bought in 2018 was cheap, reliable, and came with Bluetooth PLUS a backup camera. My phone? Bought in January 2020 and I dread replacing it.
People who kill houseplants don't realize that they are saving space in the long run. I started with a tiny $2 aloe from Trader Joe's. It now occupies like six different pots. A teeny jade I got as a trade? Now five jades of various sizes. An 8" tall Norfolk Island Pine seedling? It's a tree.

A quick word on Taco Bell: That's where we found the suspected lettuce, and it's not bc Taco Bell is gross. It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!
