My Magna Cum Laude English major ass finally saw the Odyssey and despite all the discourse, some socio-historical inaccuracies, and pretty large characterization changes and I actually thought it was a perfectly fine mass market interpretation.

Being a parent is pretty tough, but it's all worth it for that moment, every once in a while, when you get to take your kid to the city to see a marching band and say, "Will you defeat them? Your demons and all the non-believers, the plans that they have made?"

Don't quote me on this in like 10 years but I think one of the defining issues of the 2020s is "a better world is actually very easy to achieve, the powers that be are just not interested in achieving it."
