Some helpful questions I use to make decisions in uncertainty are as follows: 1. Can the choice be undone at low cost? Will waiting give me more actionable information? Early moves should preserve optionality or be delayed if later choices can then be made with more information.

Ice cream shops were built for scooping. You get your scoop, you move your ass down the line, you pay. These increasingly elaborate beverages take forever to make and back up the whole line, which usually doesn’t have much of a spill-over zone. Tell Congress to keep Big Smoothie out of our parlors.
