Karoline Leavitt has been one of the faces of facism for a year-and-a-half. She's been a propagandist pushing this adminstration's lies, racism, and xenophobia which have led to deaths here and abroad. The fact that she's not facing criticism for that is another indictment of our mainstream press.
The most relevant thing about "Woke 1" is how heavy exaggeration into a national crisis helped usher in authoritarian repression. The most uncharitable accounting by the biggest antiwoke critic still pales in comparison to a single day of the Trump regime's rights violations and state censorship.

The backlash to the Peak Woke era is cutting funds, changing curricula and explicitly politicizing science — actions that affect millions.
There's a pernicious belief, widely believed, that if a platform isn't on its way to becoming the biggest platform then it's on its way to failing. That belief is silly. So let's stop talking about Bluesky as if that belief is true.
