Senior Animator on Warframe who draws sometimes. (Previously: Watchdogs Legion, Farcry 6, Trollhunters)

speaking of... the ONLY collaboration/business requests i've gotten are people doing weird TCG scam shit and im actually really peeved about it. This WHOLE PROJECT is NOT!!! about making things more exclusive, or expensive!! The fucking opposite!! I want it to be AS AFFORDABLE as possible.

Hey, instead of throwing 96 bucks at midj0urney & getting only slop, ugly ass D&D portraits out of it… I offer you 350+ handcrafted designs for just $1! There's also a $5 tier with cute little variants now, thanks to us consistently hitting 500+ Patrons!!! patreon.com/Myrmidia 🤍👉👈

Last workshop with Spencer Wan, and he dropped some good life advice: "we are mortal, and our flesh is weak. If you as an animator just sit at your desk and work all day, you will wither and die."

Heads up for my artists friends in the industry, if you ever get rushed to join an interview/call last minute through a link that requires you to download "latest update" of any required software, keep an eye. Someone just tried to scam me this way just now.

I ended up swinging by the lobby of my first animation gig: Arc Productions. For those not in the know, it was --for a brief moment-- the largest animation studio in the country. Ten years ago this long weekend, Arc locked its doors as it fell into receivership. 650 or so people lost their jobs.

A ritzy looking lobby with floor to ceiling glass windows framing old brick buildings that are half inside. The wood ceiling of the highrise built above it is held up by giant, white X-shaped pillars.

i hate how much people care about their ships being "canon" now. spirk fans didn't publish zines full of fanfics in the 70s only for modern fandom to grovel at the knees of corporations and beg for things to be canon. use your imaginations, don't allow billionaires to think for you.

It was my first time seeing an egret, and we were amazingly close to it. They are extremely beautiful until you photograph them from the wrong angle. Its one of the least photogenic bird photos i have ever seen.

A great egret, wading in shallow water, framed by dry reedsThe same great egret from the prior photo, standing on the water, but it has its head turned away, in a much less photogenic pose that looks like a weird stick poking out of its body

Good morning birders, today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme: #CHE Cormorants, Herons and Egrets Alt #Memories: bird captures you have reason to remember. Had you been trying to get the capture for a long time? Did you fall into a bush? First time seeing the bird? No AI. #birds #photography #ECK

A close-up portrait of a Little Egret standing in still, dark water, photographed in profile with its long black bill slightly open. The bird’s pristine white plumage contrasts dramatically against the deep navy background, while its bright yellow eye and greenish facial skin stand out with striking clarity. Fine, delicate breeding plumes cascade from the lower neck and breast, adding soft texture and elegance to the image. Gentle concentric ripples spread across the water around the egret’s partially submerged legs, echoing the graceful curve of its long neck. The minimalist composition, crisp feather detail, and high contrast between the luminous white bird and the inky water create a refined, almost sculptural portrait of this elegant wading bird.

#SDCC comic con: our daughter left her 3D printed black dragon in the restroom near E/Starbucks. She printed it herself and is devastated. We checked the restroom and lost and found which means someone picked it up. If you bring it to 5552 I will give you a signed comic as reward

I have just... wanted a wireless keyboard that i could use on my PS5. Do you know how hard it is to find out wireless compatibility of peripherals? I finally just replaced the keycaps on this wired one, hooked it up to the console, and the ROBOT VACCUM SNAGGED THE CABLE. THE SWITCHES ARE SOLDERED.

a mechanical keyboard, with the escape key separated, the stem on the key switch snapped off and stuck in the keycap.

“Avatar Korra, I’m finally able to commune with you! Do you have any avatar wisdom?” “Yeah, listen kid, you’re a girl, so try to save the world in a way where you never have fun and are never cocky, if you do either the internet won’t shut up about how much they hate you for the next ten years”

is the female character actually poorly-written or do you just lack the capacity to care about women. and if she IS genuinely poorly-written would you be extrapolating on her character and engaging in fan works to address those problems if she were a man.

I feel like people have forgotten that ad blockers weren't popular because people just wanted to get something for free, it's because we can't trust ads not to fuck up our computers. If we still just had quiet simple banner ads or sideboard ads, ad blockers wouldn't have gotten as much traction.
