my neighborhood 7-11 closed a couple years ago and tried to reopen but couldn’t get the permit approved because there’s a preschool next door and 7-11s sell alcohol (the previous permit was grandfathered in). i saw a fence going up around the lot recently and looked up what was moving in: a gun shop

may have gone a bit extra with the enemy death animation in You Have Died (And Been Reincarnated As A Fox Girl) but i like it :3

nier automata is so incredibly clever on (developer) resource allocation, it feels much bigger than it actually is. this could only be the work of industry veterans with decades of experience. it's a $10-20M game that feels like a $50-75M one

added basic enemy attacks to You Have Died (And Been Reincarnated As A Fox Girl), a game about being reincarnated as a fox girl in a dungeon town where everyone else is also isekaid girls and gay shenanigans and dungeon diving ensue

playing nier automata I've come to the realization that I don't like fishing minigames. I like them as a concept, it's an inherently fun idea, but actually playing them is terrible. especially when you have to fill a checklist of dozens of fish to get a trophy

My favorite part is when Musk says more Europeans die from heat than Americans die from guns. Musk asks why The Economist doesn't write about air conditioning. She explains they do. "Pro-air conditioning?” asks Musk. “Very pro-air conditioning,” she responds. “You should read us sometime.”

attention all iPad kids and sickos who use mobile devices to play games, Hypnospace Outlaw comes out on Apple/Google Play tomorrow.
