I met a lot of lovely, enthusiastic people while hosting the Big Walk preview sessions, but I only ever let one person wear the giant pàpier mâché Big Walk head that I made (we keep it in the planter as a decoration). This person was so into the game that I kinda had to, and they did not disappoint

I was the first person my dear friend and former roommate Tim came out to (being from conservative rural Michigan, he struggled against it until his early 20s). This past Saturday, I played banjo in his wedding ceremony as he married his wonderful partner Andy. 🥲

We were the first in our friend group to get married, and our friend Tim officiated while wearing his Yosemite park ranger’s uniform. He’s since married 5 or 6 other couples, and now we’re on our way to HIS wedding. It’s gonna be a good one, folks. 🥲
