One has to look at union dues as insurance. We buy it for our homes, healthcare, our life. Unions are employment insurance. Having to pay the $ dues is the usual reason why most don’t want one. And propaganda from a capitalist boss man.
Trump hates unions because organized workers are the only force that can actually check billionaire power. Every attack on labor is designed to keep working people fragmented and desperate - because helpless workers don't strike, they vote for strongmen.
Data centers contribute to higher power bills by driving up electricity demand, requiring expensive grid upgrades, and raising wholesale market prices.
"Unions are the opposite of fascism. That is why fascists attack organized labor first." - Cory Doctorow

"You win a trade war by maintaining solidarity until your opponent cries uncle. Unplugging Canadians from Zuckerberg’s advertising panopticon and getting our information system off Musk’s rage machine is an essential part of that mission."

Flock cameras have no place in Texas. They can piece together an exact map of your behavior — the places you went and how long you were there. Flock calls this “pattern-of-life” mapping. Texans call it something else: government overreach.
Your phone, your store reward programs, ring doorbells, social media... and many more technologies are doing the same thing. Being packaged up and sold to whoever pays. With AI being used to consolidate all that info to develop a profile of you. The problem is much larger than just Flock cameras.

there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.
