Senate must ask leadership to explain this Aug18 claim: "If a labour disruption is inevitable, then it’s in Dalhousie Univ’s best interest to move to that stage now" Why was disruption "inevitable"? What "interest" does this refer to? Show Senate the evidence for this conclusion. #KeepDalStrong

At today’s DFA rally, I was pleasantly surprised to see a silly meme I made blown up on a picket sign. Definitely adding meme famous to my CV. If I’m ever not locked out. Attached again for your consideration. I think it’s just as appropriate now. #KeepDalStrong

Yes! Students were signing the #Solidarity banner on my picket shift this morning as well. Very pleased with their support and Dalhousie Student Union vote in support and solidarity. Hope to see lots of students at our Friday rally! Grateful for our students. #KeepDalStrong

The Dalhousie Faculty Association has rejected an offer of arbitration to end an ongoing lockout from Dalhousie University while also filing a complaint with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour.

So pleased to receive my author copy of On Settler Colonialism in Canada. I would have known it was coming and been able to respond to the invitation to participate in the book launch if my employer hadn’t locked me and my @dalfaculty.bsky.social colleagues out of our email and offices!
