US home prices just hit an all-time high with 30-year mortgages at 6.55%. 10 years ago, the average new home cost $350,000 and rates were 3.5%. Today, it costs $540,600 and rates are 6.55%. Meanwhile, 49% of Americans under 30 now live with a parent, up from 37% in 2019. Crazy numbers.
Americans are united in the bipartisan rejection of expert opinions. Right, left, and center intentionally ignore scientific and economic principles that contradict their chosen ideology. The legal profession owes much to Cicero, but Roman leadership executed him to avoid listening to him.
Our founders hope was that we would counter each other with ideas and arguments. Instead, we now counter each other with condescending insults and racial epithets. After all, calling them evil does not make us good. But it does keep us from seeing the evil we need to address in ourselves.
US national debt just hit an all-time high of $39.5 trillion. $11 trillion of America’s debt was added while President Trump was in office. That’s 28% of the entire national debt, more dollars added than under any other U.S. president in history.

MORE THAN 98% of the Republicans in Congress voted last year to: 1) Cut one TRILLION dollars from Medicaid: 2) Give roughly that amount in tax cuts to the richest 1% of Americans. 3) Give ICE a bigger budget than the U.S. Marine Corps. When you vote GOP, you vote to let Trump act like a King.

Last year, Trump and Republicans celebrated the nation's birthday by cutting healthcare for over 8 million Americans. Republicans are making life HARDER for the working class, not easier.
Trump policies mean that the US is ceding the field in clean energy to China, while doubling down on the dirtiest, most dangerous fossil fuels.
Time to reject this imperial presidency with it tech bros oligarchy and it's kangaroo supreme court. Good, bad or otherwise, Congress does at all times represent the will of the people. No royalty without a peasantry. If we don't step up this Fall, then we and MAGA will become that peasantry.
