Hm, so last night I finished watching the Get Smart movie from 2008, the Steve Carell one, which I hadn’t seen before despite having been a huge fan of the original series for the past 35 years or so. (We don't talk about Get Smart '95.) Um, oof. I have some really conflicting feelings.

As a book: I enjoyed the author’s attempt to solve one of the treasure hunts over Zoom, I immediately spotted the key to solving the Murder Game, and Aaron and I enjoyed cameo appearances by Sid Sackson and Geoff Engelstein. The cryptic crossword section was not my cup of tea but it’s a fine book.
