Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

Higher education has been hemming & hawing about how to earn the public's trust and I must say, capitulating to the Trump administration on behalf of all institutions without a broader discussion, facilitated by Koch-brothers-supported AEI, is a hell of a way to DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF BUILD TRUST.

This raises the stakes of the midterms substantially for public research. Based on this article, I think we can assume they’ll allow the rule to go forward if they retain a Congressional majority.

This is good, but it's temporary. The GOP Senators refused to pass a permanent ban on restructuring the grant process. They ultimately want what Trump wants, but they want folks to think they stood up to him to save their skins in the midterms. Don't fall for it. Collins needs to go.
